Two weeks after launch, Kukaburra is introducing the highly anticipated Forests to the ecosystem!
Forests are the staking platforms designed to handle and support fee-on-transfer tokens as well as reflections earned from tokens staked into the contract. This means that reflections from staked tokens can be put to work! As an example, Kukaburra reflections earned by the Forests can be used to incentivize liquidity in a sustainable way.
The Forest contract rewards are scheduled to be initiated at Thu Jul 22 2021 07:00:00 GMT+0000. You may find a countdown here.
According to our community poll, the first five available Forests will offer:
- Staking Kukaburra for WKCS
- Staking Kukaburra for WKCS (Kukaburra transfer fee disabled)
- Staking KuSwap LPs (WKCS-🐦KUKA) for Kukaburra
- Staking KuSwap LPs (USDC-🐦KUKA) for Kukaburra
- Staking KuSwap LPs (USDT-🐦KUKA) for Kukaburra
For your convenience and to make the launch as smooth as possible, you are able to pre-stake into the Forests immediately. Your rewards will begin accruing as soon as the distribution is initiated at the scheduled time.

- Make sure you have Kukaburra! If you need some, check out KuSwap
- Open the website
- Connect your wallet. Metamask is recommended
- Wait 10 seconds and locate the Forest launcher at the bottom of the page. The Forest launcher displays all staking opportunities that are available.
- Click the reward you are interested in
- Inspect the available Forest offerings and pick the one you want to stake in
- If necessary, you may need to first add liquidity if the Forest is for staking LPs
- Approve the token if necessary
- Enter the amount of tokens you would like to stake and click the ‘STAKE’ button
- Wait
- You will start earning rewards from the Forest as soon as the distribution period starts. That was easy!
